We need to listen to understand and not to reply. This was the motivation for 36 participants from 6 different countries to get together and learn conflict management tools.

The youth exchange took place in Poland, in a very nice city known as Wisla. The youth from Armenia, Georgia, Poland, Ukraine, Italy and the Czech Republic were enjoying their time from September 10-18, gaining new knowledge, getting to know other cultures, delivering sessions and enjoying yoga and outdoor sport activities. The fact that the participants were given a chance for delivering sessions was quite challenging but at the same times another opportunity for personal growth and professional development. 

The sessions gave a chance to the participants for analyzing conflicts, the reasons they emerge, and the most important-understanding the latent causes of the conflict and methods for effective conflict management. The psychological part of the conflicts was thoroughly discussed as it is a latent but very crucial component of all conflicts. Participant countries presented conflicts in their countries, the stages and the methods of conflict resolution. It was a productive session of sharing the best practices and having active discussions.

A huge thank you first of all goes to the organizers for their patience, professionalism and devotion. It goes without saying that the exchange wouldn’t be the same without bright and active participants who made the project more divert and joyful.

Now we are all back home but much more empowered, wiser and motivated!
